This scarf-handkerchief features the Blue Impulse, as seen in Higashimatsushima where the artist lives, and at the Tohoku Kizuna Festival. I designed it as I feel a special connection to it, seeing it from my studio and other places.

This is a handkerchief featuring a watercolor painting by Miyako Nishio. Its large size means it can be used not only as a handkerchief, but also as a scarf.
Each piece is carefully finished with "Chidori-maki sewing," a technique primarily used for scarves in Ishinomaki City, Miyagi Prefecture.
Wear it, or tuck it into your pocket. Like a real flower, this item will add a touch of joy to your ordinary day.
＜About the fabric＞
The fabric is 100% cotton lawn. It has a smooth texture and is slightly sheer.
It features full-color printing, with almost no color fading after washing, so you can use it with confidence.
＜How to use＞
At a generous size of 53cm, it can be used as a handkerchief or a scarf. It's also recommended for protection against air conditioning in summer or as sunshade.
It can also be used to cover baskets, wrap lunches, or as a bandana. One piece offers many ways to enjoy it.
When paired with a separately sold scarf ring, the knot will be neatly arranged.
