デザイナー 西尾都が描く水彩画の
テキスタイルと小物雑貨のブランドです。
生き生きと描かれている
豊かな自然や野に咲く花たちが、
私を明るい気持ちにさせてくれる。
今日はどれにしようかな。
身にまとって。ポケットにしのばせて。
そこに本物の花があるように、
何気ない一日がちょっぴりうれしくなるような
アイテムをつくっています。
miyaco nishio is a brand of watercolor textiles and accessories envisioned by the designer Miyako Nishio.
Vividly depicted, the lush nature and blooming flowers in the fields brighten my spirit.
Today, I wonder which one to choose—to wear or tuck into my pocket.
Crafting items that make ordinary days a bit more joyful, as if there were real flowers, is my passion.

広島県生まれ 仙台市在住
自然の中に生きる
花や草木、鳥、蝶など、
輪郭を捉えることができる生き物たち。
それらを形成する細胞や、
形として認識できない光や粒子。
地球に息づく生命のエネルギーを
掬いとって、
私が感じた思いのまま
自由に水彩画で表現しています。
広島市立大学芸術学研究科修了。大学在学中には制作したアニメーションが世界中で上映されるなど、積極的に制作活動を行う。卒業後は任天堂株式会社に入社し、UIデザイナーを経験。結婚を機に退職し、仙台へ移住。「一枚の布に絵をのせてみたい」という純粋な気持ちからハンカチづくりをスタートし、現在の miyaco nishio の活動に至っている。
Living amidst nature, I capture the essence of living beings such as flowers, plants, birds, and butterflies—their contours tangible.
The cells forming them, the intangible light and particles eluding recognition as a shape.
Gathering the energy of life pulsating through the Earth, I freely express my emotions through watercolor, painting what I feel in the moment.
