<About the Handkerchief that Doubles as a Scarf>
This is a watercolor handkerchief designed by Miyako Nishio. Its generous size makes it perfect not only as a handkerchief but also as a scarf.
Each one is carefully sewn with "chidorimaki stitching," which is primarily used for scarves in Ishinomaki City, Miyagi Prefecture.
Wear it around your neck. Tuck it into your pocket. It's a piece that will make an ordinary day a little brighter, as if there were real flowers nearby.
＜About the Fabric＞
The fabric is 100% cotton lawn. It has a smooth feel and is slightly sheer.
It features full-color printing, and the colors hardly fade after washing, so you can use it with confidence.
＜How to Use＞
Its generous size of 53cm means you can use it as a handkerchief or a scarf. It's also recommended for protection against air conditioning in summer or as a sunshade.
You can also use it to cover baskets, wrap lunches, or as a bandana. Having one allows you to enjoy various uses.
When combined with a separate scarf ring (sold separately), the knot will stay neatly in place.
