This is a watercolor handkerchief drawn by Miyako Nishio. Its large size means it can be used not only as a handkerchief, but also as a scarf.
Each one is carefully sewn with the "houndstooth rolled hem" technique, primarily used for scarves in Ishinomaki City, Miyagi Prefecture.
Wear it on your person. Tuck it into your pocket. It's a piece that will make an ordinary day a little happier, as if there were real flowers there.
＜About the fabric＞
The fabric is 100% cotton lawn. It has a smooth texture and is slightly sheer.
It is full-color printed, with almost no color fading after washing, so you can use it with peace of mind.
＜How to use＞
At 53cm, it's a large size, so it can be used as a handkerchief or a scarf. It is also recommended for protecting against air conditioning in summer or as sun protection.
It can also be used as a basket cover, lunch wrap, or bandana. Having one allows you to enjoy various uses.
When paired with a separately sold scarf ring, the knot will also be neatly tied.
